One of Buxton Web Design’s most recent clients is Ultra White Collar Boxing, a business that holds black-tie boxing events across the UK. They host these events to raise money for their chosen charity (Cancer Research), to get participants fit and to get people to have an enjoyable experience. The participants attend a free 8 week training programme from professional boxing coaches.
 
Ultra White Collar Boxing do most, if not all of their engagement using the popular social media website Facebook. In addition to building a bespoke WordPress website for them, Ultra White Collar Boxing wanted us to include their website sign-up form as an embedded application on Facebook.

The main benefits of having the sign-up form embedded into Facebook include:

  • An image/tab within the Facebook header is much more visible than a simple URL.
  • Ultra White Collar Boxing have seen an increase of over 50% in traffic to their website from the Facebook app.

If you want to drive more visitors from Facebook to your website with an embedded app, you’ll need an SSL Certificate on your server.
